Richard H. Spencer

Richard H. Spencer, age 92, of Winchester, died March 7 ^th 2018 of natural causes, at his home.  He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years Janet and his son of 30 years Stephen. Mr. Spencer had degrees in electrical engineering and worked for many years at Arthur D. Little, Inc. He and Janet traveled frequently on Elder Hostel trips. He was also a longtime member of the Winchester Unitarian Society. Richard was an avid skier, sailor, cyclist and active in many groups including the Waltham Stamp Club, the Lexington and Arlington bikeways and the Winchester Shakespeare club. He leaves his daughter Ellen Spencer and her husband Carl Jernstedt as well as his nieces Mary Lewis and Sarah Putman and his nephew Griff Lewis. A memorial service will be held at the Winchester Unitarian Society on April 14 ^th at 11:00 AM.  Memorial gifts may be made to the Winchester Unitarian Society, 478 Main St., Winchester, MA 01890.
