Paul Joseph Emery

Paul J. Emery, a longtime resident of Stoneham died December 6, 2018 at the Veterans Administration  Hospital Hospice Unit in Bedford.  Born in Melrose, he was the son of the late Harold and Agnes (O'Gara) Emery.  Paul was a veteran of the US Army and served in  Vietnam.

He is survived by two sons, Sean Emery and his wife Laura and Iain Emery and his wife Nicole and his grandchildren, Samantha, Aidan, Emilia and Addison Emery.  He was the brother of Eileen Nims and her husband Steven and Robert Emery.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, December 11 at 9 A.M. in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, followed by burial with military honors in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.  Those desiring may consider a memorial gift to the Wounded Veterans' Project.
