Mark Leighton Savage, a lifelong resident of Stoneham, passed away September 8, 2021, following a long illness. He was 55 years of age. Mark was a 1984 graduate of Stoneham High School. He attended the Peterson School in Woburn and went on to be a HVAC Technician. He worked at M.I.T. in Cambridge for 20 years.
His passion was anything mechanical. He always had a project to work on for friends and family. He was also an accomplished cook, who loved sharing recipes for cooking on the grill, smoker or by any means of experimenting.
Mark is survived by his parents, Albert and Lorraine (Mitchell) Savage of Stoneham: a brother Stephen Savage of Virginia and a sister Kimberly Savage of Stoneham; his nephew Damon McLaughlin of Stoneham and many dear aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Cheryl L. Savage.
Private services were held at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home in Stoneham. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
