Frank V. Castiglione

Frank V. Castiglione, age 95, a resident of Stoneham for over 63 years, passed away April 30, 2020.He was the husband of  Eleanor (Fotino) Castiglione. Born and raised in Everett, MA; he was the son of the late Gaspare and Frances (Natale) Castiglione.

A graduate of Everett High School, Frank was drafted in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He earned the rank of Corporal.  Throughout his working years, he was employed by the Town of Stoneham, as a custodian at Stoneham High School and Colonial Park Elementary, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Stoneham Elks.

He was the father of Karen Castiglione of Wakefield, Gary Castiglione and his wife Janet of Stoneham, Wayne Castiglione and his wife Karen of Gypsum, CO and Frank Castiglione and his wife Linda of Tewksbury. Also survived by 6 grand-children and 8 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Anne Bonanno.

Due to the present pandemic, services at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park have been postponed and a celebration of life announcement will be made at a later date. Memorial gifts in Frank's name may be made to Smile, www.smiletrain.org/donate.
