Peter Anthony Correggio

Peter Anthony Correggio Jr., age 78, of Saugus, formerly of Everett and Stoneham, died unexpectedly July 22, 2021. Born in Malden, MA and raised in Everett; he was the son of the late Peter A. and Emily F. (Spadaro)  Correggio.

Peter was a graduate of Everett High School, class of 1960, where he excelled in sports; lettering in baseball and basketball. He enlisted in the Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  Following  honorable discharge, Peter went on to further his education at MassBay Community College. He was a retired employee of the Massachusetts Welfare Department.

He is survived by his son, Peter Allen Correggio and his wife Karen, and grandson Domenic all of Methuen. He leaves his sister Paula Cerrato and her husband Gerard of Stoneham.; nieces Christina Cerrato of Wakefield and Felicia Cerrato and her husband Joshua of Roslindale and his longtime dear friend Patricia Prior of Saugus.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to a memorial gathering Wednesday, July 28th, 4-7 P.M. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham,
