Susan Elizabeth Travers

Susan E. Travers, age 62, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2017, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, following a brief illness. A longtime resident of Boston, she graduated from Emmanuel College and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Boston University. She was a gifted vocalist and writer, as well as a talented retail salesperson. Throughout her life, Susan was a true and generous friend to many and had a special appreciation for the unconditional love that she shared with her animal companions. She survives in our hearts as a person of unwavering principle and dedication to God, and also as one who could enjoy laughter and the beauty of this world. Her wisdom and kindness will be greatly, greatly missed. Donations in Susan’s memory may be directed to organizations promoting animal welfare or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Memorial services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home in Stoneham.
