Ruth Joanne Lee

Ruth J. Lee of Stoneham passed away peacefully on November 30, 2015, at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. Born and raised in Stoneham; she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth (Sutherland) Richardson.
Ruth was employed for many years as an administrative assistant by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She was a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and a season ticket holder of the New England Patriots.
She was the devoted mother of Sherry, Laurie and Scott Lee; the cherished grandmother of Brittany, Scotti, Shaunna and Jeffrey Lee and the great grandmother of Aeryannah and George. She was the dear sister of Norma J. Carlson & her husband Sid and Ralph Richardson Jr. and loving “auntie” of Pamela Ganem, Gary Carlson and their children.
A private graveside service will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham on December 18th . A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held in the spring. Those desiring may make a memorial gift to the Jimmy Fund; 10 Brookline Place West, FL 6; Brookline, MA 02445-9924.
